Anna's First Month

Anna Kay Gibson was born April 19, 2008 after 23 hours of labor! She weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. She was really chubby when she was born because she was so swollen. Pretty big for my first baby!

Look at those chubby cheeks! Her eyes were so swollen, but she was still beautiful.

The very relieved, exhausted, proud, happy, excited mother!

The also very exhausted but very proud dad! Look how big her feet are!

This is Barrett taking his turn "watching" the baby. Ha! They were just too cute together I couldn't resist sneaking a shot!

Anna's first real bath. She didn't enjoy it so much. Her umbelical cord fell off at 5 days old, so we thought we would try a real bath instead of sponging her. Apparently she wasn't quite ready for it. She didn't mind the shower though!

Cute little Anna in her enormous night gown and bow.

Anna with my best friend Jessica Greene Bradfield's baby. Maya Ann is three days younger than Anna and has way more hair! They were so cute together.

We took this picture to give to our moms for Mother's Day. Anna was 3 weeks old and already had chubby cheeks!

Me holding Anna in her favorite position on my shoulder. She loves to be up and looking around.

You looked awesome pregnant! I looked similar, but with more of a basketball...ugh I hate being pregnant! And she is so cute! AGH! Are you having fun being a little mommy? I know its hard sometimes, and if it isn't yet, it probably will be soon, but its the best! Congratsto both of you! (23 hours of labor? Holy flip!)
